Postponement Announcement for CICTP 2020-21


After careful considerations in light of the globally continuous development of the COVID-19, we have decided to postpone the CICTP 2020-21 until December 16-19, 2021. Our decision is aimed to ensure our audiences, partners, and staffs in a safe environment, while providing an exciting opportunity of reuniting our international audiences and friends together.

We remain excited to host you later this year and will get back to you with more information on this event in the coming days. Your registration will automatically be applied to the rescheduled event. The latest information will always be available at our conference website.

COTA and CICTP

Established in 1996, Chinese Overseas Transportation Association (COTA, formerly NACOTA) is a non-profit professional organization that aims at promoting and facilitating communications among transportation professionals worldwide and their counterparts in China. COTA has more than 1000 members and friends worldwide and the number is growing.

As the flagship event of COTA, COTA International Conference of Transportation Professionals (CICTP) is a leading international academic conference that serves as the premier gathering of transportation professionals worldwide who are interested in contributing to or gaining a profound understanding of transportation development in China.

CICTP 2022

The 22nd COTA International Conference of Transportation Professionals (CICTP 2022), to be held on July 8-11, 2022, in Changsha, China, is jointly organized by Central South University and COTA. CICTP 2022 will focus on Intelligent, Green, and Connected transportation, and address challenges and opportunities related to 1) the development and deployment of new technologies, 2) new transportation reality in a world after the pandemic, and 3) green and sustainable mobility.

The conference will host a series of technical sessions, plenary sessions, and special forums, including the World Bank Forum, the Dean’s Forum, and COTA Career Development Forum for Young Scholars and Students and Transportation Studies Forum for International Students in China. The best-paper awards and other professional awards will be presented during the conference.
